Langara College's Student Publication Wins CMA Pinnacle Awards

Pacific Rim Magazine (PRM), a print and online publication by Langara College Publishing program students, has won two prestigious CMA Pinnacle Awards at the 2017-2018 ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. 
 
LangaraPRM.com was crowned Website of the Year (Two-Year Program category) winner for the third consecutive year, while the print edition of PRM was awarded third-place for Best Advertisement, and gained an Honourable Mention for Best Magazine Cover.
 
Pacific Rim Magazine is a 64-page publication distributed to all Globe and Mail subscribers in British Columbia and each issue is edited, written, illustrated, designed, and coded by Publishing program students.
 
Production of a new issue of PRM and the development of LangaraPRM.com are integral parts of the Publishing program.
 
Previous Pinnacle Awards for PRM and LangaraPRM.com include:
2017: First place for Website of the Year (two-year program category) and third place for Feature Magazine of the Year
2016: First place for Website of the Year (two-year program category)
2015: Winner for Feature Magazine of the Year (two-year program category)
