For more than five decades, BC’s system of community colleges has worked with communities throughout BC to prepare students for the degrees or jobs they want, to provide industries with the skilled workforce they need and to build stronger local economies.
Every year, close to 200,000 students enroll in one of our 11 public colleges. They choose from over 250 programs at almost 70 campuses and learning centres in every region of BC. The comprehensive range of programs offered by our colleges is designed to be flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of community, local industry and the global marketplace.
Our colleges offer something for every student: extensive university transfer options, applied, associate and joint degrees, diploma and post diploma programs, apprenticeships, career and technical programs, adult education, certificate programs, workplace training, online and distance education.
