College Transfer Programs

Every region in BC has colleges that offer programs in trades/apprenticeship, vocational, technical, career, and academic studies. These colleges also offer upskilling programs which will prepare adult learners for post-secondary skills training and education.

Colleges offer a range of credentials, including certificates, diplomas, associate degrees, and applied undergraduate degrees. Approximately 7,700 learners transfer annually to BC’s research universities (while 4,076 transfer from universities to colleges).

The BC Transfer Guide and website is the best online tool to assist students with questions and transfer options. The BC Transfer System enables students to receive credit at an institution for a course taken at another. There are many different transfer pathways in addition to regular course to course transfer.
