Canada-BC Partnership to Train British Columbians for Jobs

More than $12 million has been invested into 49 training projects which will benefit about 2,000 British Columbians throughout the province, thanks to funding provided through the Canada-B.C. Job Fund Agreement under the Employer-Sponsored Training stream.

Vancouver Community College - Approximately $583,000 has been allocated to Vancouver Community College (VCC) to deliver three programs (the Entry to Hospitality Careers for Women program, the Office Assistant Training program,  and the Building Service Worker Training program) for up to 80 Lower Mainland residents. Selkirk College - Approximately $228,000 has been allocated to Selkirk College to deliver the Professional Driving Training Class 2/3 program in Nakusp, Kaslo, Grand Forks and Slocan. Read More

North Island College - Approximately $199,000 has been allocated to North Island College to deliver the Underground Mining Certificate program for employment at Avino Silver and Gold Mines’ Bralorne mine. Read More
