Canada’s top hockey players make most of Penticton campus fitness facility
Twenty-seven of Canada’s top female hockey players have taken up part-time residence at Okanagan College’s fitness centre in Penticton. Along with athletic trainers and coaches, the three goalies, nine defencemen and 15 forwards are spending the next few weeks of off-ice training at Okanagan College as part of their boot camp and centralized preparation for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi Russia.
