College of New Caledonia Alum's Inspiring Story from Student to Teacher
Guntas Kanda began her journey at the College of New Caledonia (CNC) as an international student in the Post-Diploma in Human Resource Management program.
Today, she is not only a graduate but also a part-time HR faculty member and a full-time organizer for the CNC Students’ Union.
Guntas's transition from student to teacher at CNC is inspiring. She believes deeply in giving back, saying, “I feel amazing that I got the opportunity to pay it forward and treat students with the same level of grace and empathy as I received.” Her favorite part of the program was the supportive instructors and the lasting friendships she made, which she now extends to her students.
The practical and relevant course content prepared her well for her career, allowing her to support students effectively. “It feels incredible to give back in a role that allows me to support and inspire just as I was supported and inspired here at CNC,” Guntas shares.
Guntas's story shows how education can shape your future and makes her a source of inspiration at CNC.
