North Island College Offers Coastal Forestry Training in Campbell River
Limited seats are available for the four-month Coastal Forest Resource program in Campbell River this January, designed to give students an advantage in BC’s forestry industry.
The four-month program provides students with hands-on skills and knowledge to start outdoor careers on the BC Coast.
Graduates say the program provided enriching career opportunities on the BC coast.
“This program opened up the door into a career path I love and am passionate about,” said Ashley H., a 2015 program graduate now working in timber development and engineering with Strategic Natural Resource Consultants.
“I couldn’t be happier with this program and am happily employed with a local company that allows me to see and explore beautiful places I've never seen on our coast. Every day is a new adventure!”
