Experience an evening of poetry with Governor General shortlisted poet Russell Thornton as he reads from his recent collections, Birds, Metals, Stones and Rain and The Hundred Lives.

"Russell Thornton writes some of the most skillfully crafted lyrics in Canada," notes Chris Banks, winner of the Jack Chalmers Poetry Award.

The reading starts at 7 pm on Thursday, March 26 at NIC’s Comox Valley campus in the Tyee Hall Lounge. Admission is free and open to the public, as part of NIC’s Write Here Readers Series.
