TransCanada donation supports NWCC students
SMITHERS, BC – Northwest Community College is pleased to announce that it has received a generous donation of $250,000 from TransCanada to support student success.
The donation will benefit Northwest Community College students in the form of bursaries through the TransCanada Pathway to Pipeline Readiness Skills Fund Bursaries directed to Workforce Training & Continuing Studies and Trades students.
“Bursaries are critical to providing many students who would not otherwise have the financial means, to access further training and studies,” says Northwest Community College President, Ken Burt.
