snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ Langara College installed and raised the Musqueam flag today, now a permanent fixture on the main campus. The event, attended by students, employees, and special guests was one of several held at Langara leading up to the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

Okanagan College is making it easier for students to connect with employers to gain practical learning experiences as an integral part of their OC education. OC has launched Careers Hub, a new online tool designed to support students on their journey into the workforce as well as employers looking for trained workers. OC’s Careers Hub is an easy, one-stop digital platform that connects students, alumni and employers to support OC students and alumni seeking the next steps in their careers.

A new centre dedicated to Early Childhood Educators and new child care spaces will be coming to the Comox Valley, thanks to a new $14.2 million investment from the Province and support from the Government of Canada through the 2021-2022 to 2025-2026 Canada-British Columbia Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.

snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ Langara College, AFOA Canada, and AFOA British Columbia (AFOA BC) are pleased to announce the first graduates from the Indigenous Financial Management Certificate. Thirteen women working in First Nations governments across British Columbia achieved the certificate as part of the first-ever cohort of this program.
