When Okanagan College student Miranda Lockhart crossed the stage to be awarded her Okanagan College certificate as a health care assistant on October 4th, it was with amazing memories and a solid career path in front of her.

Alexis Fisher had always known she wanted to work with people, but it was a Career fair at College of the Rockies that opened her eyes to the educational opportunities available to her.

OC’s Careers Hub is an easy, one-stop digital platform that connects students, alumni and employers to support OC students and alumni seeking the next steps in their careers.

A new centre dedicated to Early Childhood Educators and new child care spaces will be coming to the Comox Valley, thanks to a new $14.2 million investment from the Province and support from the Government of Canada through the 2021-2022 to 2025-2026 Canada-British Columbia Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.

snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ Langara College, AFOA Canada, and AFOA British Columbia (AFOA BC) are pleased to announce the first graduates from the Indigenous Financial Management Certificate. Thirteen women working in First Nations governments across British Columbia achieved the certificate as part of the first-ever cohort of this program.

A partnership between the City of Castlegar and the School of Environment & Geomatics since 2018, students working towards careers in the forest industry have been helping clear brush and rid forest floors of dangerous natural fuel build-up in several different locations around the community.
