Camosun College Social Enterprise Student Group Wins Regional Competition

The social enterprise team wowed the judges in the Alumni Innovation and Impact Challenge category with their socially relevant meal kit project designed to help tackle food insecurity on campus.

Okanagan College Receives $1-Million Gift From Highstreet, Championing Careers in Trades

Pursuing a skilled trade can lead to a rewarding career, full of growth, success and leadership opportunities. This is the message that Highstreet, a Kelowna-based real estate and development company, wants to share with students. Highstreet has donated $1 million to Okanagan College’s Trades and Apprenticeship programs. This gift will provide financial support to students starting an entry-level trades program. Thirteen annual bursaries of $6,500 will cover the full tuition costs with room for additional student expenses, such as textbooks or tools.
