College of New Caledonia Offers Dental Care that Supports Learning (and is easy on your wallet)

CNC’s dental clinic in Prince George offers patients the preventative care they need at affordable prices all while helping the next generation of dental students learn and grow.

According to the Canadian Dental Association, 30 per cent of Canadians do not have dental insurance. This can be a barrier in accessing dental care vital to their health and wellbeing.

“Our clinic is a great option for people with limited or no insurance to get the preventative dental care that will improve or maintain their overall health,” said Wendy Male, Associate Dean, Diagnostics and Allied Health. “All the work is done by well-trained dental hygiene and assisting students under the supervision of experienced dental practitioners.”

The CNC dental clinic offers services ranging from cleaning and x-ray to single procedures such as fissure sealants, panorex, FMS, study models, and sports guards.

The top priority of CNC’s dental clinic is to provide a safe experience for everyone. CNC has developed a safety plan to protect the health and safety of patients, students, and instructors.

Services are available to patients of all ages, although access may be limited based on certain health conditions.
