How BCs' Public Colleges are responding to COVID-19
We want to assure all students, faculty, staff and other communities connected to our colleges throughout the Province that B.C.’s public colleges are committed to providing you with the most up-to-date information regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and planned responses.
While the situation regarding COVID-19 is constantly changing, the safety of students, faculty and staff is of utmost importance, as is ensuring that students can continue their education or training and complete their current semester or course.
Colleges continue to align with guidance from the Provincial Health Officer and are working with the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.
At this time, our colleges remain open and are working on transitioning from face-to-face instruction to alternative modes of instruction and assessment wherever possible as part of the measure to support social distancing being recommended by the Provincial Health Officer.
It will take time to transition, and transition will look different for each of our colleges based on the programs being taught, and the learning outcomes that need to be met.
The most current information and FAQs for students, faculty and staff, and campus visitors are posted and regularly updated on each of our college’s websites.
