North Island College Introduces Jewellery and Metal Art Summer Workshops

Experience a summer school like no other with North Island College’s (NIC’s) first ever Jewellery and Metal Art summer sessions this July.

Explore new skills at NIC’s fully equipped jewellery design studios in Campbell River, with a series of short workshops designed to inspire your creativity and develop new skills. Each course offers hands-on learning opportunities, demonstrations, and detailed, practical tips and techniques, over three or four days. Take all five courses, or pick and choose courses to suit your interests.

Join guest artist and Alberta College of Art + Design instructor Joan Irvin, Denman Island artist Cheryl Jacobs (cheryljacobsdesigns.com) and goldsmith Wayne Mackenzie (waynemackenziegoldsmith.com) at NIC July 12 to 28.

For more information on NIC’s jewellery programs, supply lists, or registration information, visit www.nic.bc.ca/continuingeducation, or contact Julia Peters at 250-923-9724 or Student Services at your nearest campus.
