Spectra donation benefits NLC Wind Turbine students
“Spectra Energy endeavors to be the partner of choice and actively supports communities we work in and around, Morrison said. “Education and workforce development are key areas to develop as they contribute greatly to the overall long-term health and well being of the community. Spectra Energy is excited to contribute to the Northern Lights College and the important trades programs they offer.”
The funds will be directed towards covering costs related to certification exam fees for students in the Wind Turbine program, which is part of the Trades and Apprenticeship Division at NLC. NLC offers the only program of this type in British Columbia.
