Meet Joseph D’Alessandro, VCC instructor, former designer at MTV in New York, and self-proclaimed gaming guru.
This spring and summer, he is teaching VCC's new part-time courses in app design and game design.
Attend an information session for a meet and greet, take a tour of the Mac lab and learn more about these exciting part-time courses.

1. Anybody can register
These courses are great for people looking for an introduction to the world of app and game design or for those considering a career change but aren’t sure yet about spending a lot of money on a full-time program.
2. It's super fun
The most fun part about learning app and game design is the instant gratification you get when you see your designs come to life on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Students will be able to apply what they learn immediately in programs like Adobe Flash, InDesign, Dreamweaver, GameSalad, Xcode or Unity.
3. You don't need to be a computer whiz
If you can use a computer and mouse, you can register! Familiarity with Apple's Mac OS X operating system is helpful but not required.
4. You get to use cool gadgets in VCC's new Mac lab
Students work in a Mac-based training room using new Apple iMac computer workstations equipped with the latest Adobe and Apple software such as Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and more. Did we mention the lab has an incredible mountain view?
5. Classes are flexible
Continuing Studies offers part-time classes during evenings and weekends.
