Camosun College Business Student Combines Love of Travel and Hospitality
At Camosun College, Bailey learned the value of her education within the hospitality industry and the importance of the connections she made.
“I was intimidated when I started the program,” says Bailey Moore, a student in the Hospitality Management program. “I didn’t know anyone attending Camosun and I wasn’t sure what the courses and workload would be like.” Fortunately, Bailey found a welcoming and supportive community at Camosun. “Everyone in the program was very welcoming. I’ve made great friends who’ve really made the college experience richer,” says Bailey. “The instructors take a genuine interest in your success and I learned quickly that if I had any issues I could reach out to them.”
She decided on the Hospitality Management program because she loves working with people and has come to discover the advantages of the program. “It’s shown me how valuable the program is for anyone working in the hospitality industry and I’ve made important connections,” says Bailey. When asked about her future plans, Bailey says, “I would love to combine my love of travel and passion for the hospitality industry by spending time working abroad.”
