At its Connection 2024 pre-conference forum, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICAN) addressed the role of education in delivering a green transition with the question, “How can colleges and institutes meet the climate change commitments of the Paris Climate Accord?”

Coast Mountain College (CMTN) is on track to bring the Practical Nursing Diploma Program back to the College pending a final seal of approval from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Applications are being accepted now for classes commencing in October.

North Island College’s forestry technology graduates celebrated with a silver ring ceremony in April, as many are typically working in the field come graduation time in June. The college’s coastal forestry technologist program is also celebrating an achievement of its own: accreditation.
